hi i have just upgraded my computer to windows 7 and found that the artanium profile would not install from the disc i had got with the printer and artainium ink system so i downlooaded a profile from sawgrass but although i can find it in colour settings on the control panel when i try to set a profile for photoshop3 i cant find the artainium profile hope this makes sense i was getting better colour matches before without setting a profile or so it seems
does any one have any suggestions on what i am doing wrong

Have you installed from the desktop? Tried removing and re-installing? Was software open when you installed?

ICC profiles are stored in C:/Windows/System32/spool/drivers/color on win XP - I would expect something similar on win 7 - copy your profiles to there if installing them hasn't worked.

I also tend to delete ones that I don't use to make selecting the different ones I do use in Photoshop easier.

hi justinn, not sure what you mean about desktop or whether software was open when i installed all i did was install a download from sawgrass for windows 7 and it just installed it self i did not have photoshop open when i got the sawgrass download if that is what you mean
in colour management i can scroll down all the profiles are there including the new downloaded artainium but in photoshop the artainium can not be found i have added a screen shot
i think i may have to uninstall and start again i think justin

When you download and place on your desktop area you just right mouse click and choose install.

Some software won't recognise the install if it's running at the time, you have to restart.

Screenshot a bit small but I assume it just isn't appearing on the list...and therefore isn't installed?

Confirming that ICCs are saved in the same directory in Win7 as they are in XP, so just copy/paste them to C:/Windows/System32/spool/drivers/color
