Mrs Janners is bit handy with a camera. She has been asked about producing cards from her photos. Simple question does a printer with the manufacturer inks on the manufacturer paper normally need a profile?
Our current Kodak general printer looks terrible with photos.

Just remembered how much I paid for it ..... Maybe that's why.
I am comparing it to s HP photo printer that we had previously, Mrs Janners thinks the HP was 5 times the price about 10 years ago that died recently ..... Smoking!

if you have oryginal ink and paper you dont need icc profile. profile is already included in your system and printer driver using it by default.

Thanks Paul
That is as I assumed. The difference being then a specific photo printer that cost £150 10 years ago produced a far better image then my £39 Kodak printer of today, because of the quality of the printer itself.
Now to do some homework on what printer will best handle card for Cards and produce quality images. I can see Mrs Janners may have set me quite a task here.

I use the Epson Photo R220 or the Epson Photo 1400 for my photo prints. It does edge to edge and they come out sooo good!
