Brother PR600 series have built in fonts - no more difficult than pressing the buttons in the right order. When I do a job like that I don't (usually) charge a set up fee

That's big letters for a www -or is that two rows - like everything, need full info to say.

If it's a single row the letters are too big (or a very short web address) to fit within 30cm IMO would only get about 8 letters at that size

Hi Paul, I wouldnt charge for digitising text either.
My charge for the embroidery would be based on the time it takes to do the work. For example. my www. address is www.logomeister.de that is about 6600 stiches in Times new Roman. at 26 cm wide. That would take 10 to 12 mins to stitch in the machine. or about 5 pieces an hour. My charge on a bulk order is 25€ per hour. Thats 5€ each, plus tax. If a design takes longer to do then its still 25€ per hour.

But for one offs or small orders then my minimum charge is between 10 and 15 euros each.
But thats just the embroidery on brought in items. When you use my supplied goods then the price varies enormously.
My machines run most of the day at these prices.

We dont charge to digitize text either, its just like printing - you type it in, set the colour for thread and off it goes...simples! Logos etc. have a digitizing fee though as expected.

ok. so 30cm would be to long i think but as you know every www is different. some short ones and some long ones out there...
I think I will farm it out or maybe there is some simple, table top machine that can embroider text and dos not cost the earth?

The small brother machines would do it, starting about £600 i think Paul, but they are slow and not very versitile.

You might be better off farming it out, it wouldnt cost much!
