Go to the BMS website, click on the ricoh printer bit, click on the video, from about 20 minutes onwards (if my memory is right) it will tell you how to do your alignments etc. It's simple but takes about 15 minutes. That banding is characteristic of paper feed alignment, print head alignment etc.
Follow the guide do all stages and I am sure all will be fine. Some of the checks should be done on a regular basis, and all of them should have done when you first set the printer up.
So make a cuppa, follow the video, and it will probably be hunky dory.

The banding looks bad enough to possibly something in the original. Is the colour profile correct on the Ricoh? What format are you printing in?

Have you phoned sawgrass helpline?
If not, why not?
Have you spoken to your supplier?
If not , why not?
Really these are your first ports of call. Use them. Save yourself the agro, or you'll get all stressed.
You have a good printer, you may have a duff one, it happens.
I had a problem with mine. The support and service from BMS, and Sawgrass was excellent.

Can't make calls, bought off here, was working fine before just started happening recently, also I thought the forum was my first place of call due to it being such a friendly place there is a chance it's happened to someone else ?
With all the flushes and head cleans I've done I'm now out of black so will need to buy some, might just buy a full set as the others are low also, hopefully that's the problem.
