Im thinking about getting corel draw (as cheap as possible)

I need it to be full version with VBA (havnt got a clue what this is) full version.....is the home student full version?

such a difference in prices, i dont want to make a mistake.

I was thinking about using the cut wizard and r stones, they both say they can use x3,x4,x5,x6 im on vista basic
can someone give me any idea what i need please.

also does corel draw open SVG files?

Hi I use Corel drawx5 very good, but I found the home student is not a full version. Have you tried photo graphic designer 7? It's a great program and you can use template's from photo shop with it too very easy software to use.

Oh and yes coreldraw uses SVG files, here's how

  • 4Browse to the folder where the SVG file is located. Click "Import."
    
    
  • 5Click anywhere on the blank CorelDRAW page to insert the SVG file. Press the "Enter" key to place it in the center of the page. Press the "Spacebar" key to use the SVG file's original placement.
    
    
  • 6Select the SVG graphic. Choose "Arrange" > "Unlock" (or "Unlock All Objects"). This makes the imported SVG object(s) editable.
    
    
  • 7Keep the object(s) selected. Click on "Arrange" > "Ungroup" (or "Ungroup All") to separate them. You can now edit the SVG file.
    
    
  • 8Save as a CorelDRAW file using "File" > "Save As." Or choose "Export" to save the edited graphics into another format (including SVG).

Thank you but it does need to be corel draw to use the other software with.

I use CorelDraw X4, I've had the home and student edition in the past and as far as I'm aware it's the full version.

Is that what you use your cut wizard software with to cut with cameo justin?

I don't cut through Corel on the Cameo (and don't intend to do much more with the Cameo anyway!) as I find it's easier to export into the provided software than cut direct.

Does the cut wizard not work well with it then justin?

I just found it easier to work by exporting.

I use CD X3 with my cutter.. I have the full version, so can't help on the student version.. but even so still a fab piece of software.
