Hi,
I have been asked to print on the bottom of the mugs, but can't seem to find anything anywhere that will do it.
Have seen on eBay someone who has offered mugs with printed bottoms, but can't seem to fond any machines to do it?
Any suggestions!
James

this was asked man times and ppl come up with all sorts of ideas. waterproof decals, stamps etc... there is no machine that can to that on the market. I think you could use your plate press.
one think is that ou need to find mugs that are coated on the bottom. most of them are coated only on sides.

I have a plate press, but can't get it to go up far enough to get a mug underneath it!

Just tried on a swing away flat bed heat press - there doesn't seem to be any sublimation coating whatsoever on the bottom of BMS mugs as there wasn't even a faint print left after 190/190 with 2 sheets of silicon. Maybe Martin can confirm whether there is a coating on the bottom of the mugs or not.
Cheers John

Listawood offer the service of printing on the base of mugs using a Pad printer.
I was quoted £25 set up fee and then 10p/Colour per mug + V.A.T a little while ago.
Give them a ring or email.
