For someone who has no experience in sublimation the Ricoh printers will probably work out the cheapest as they are the easiest to get up and running. There are other options that might cost less on the initial purchase but getting it running properly will take more time/ ink / blanks.
As far as inktec is concerned this would be a no go area for small format users. They sell in ltr bottles as they are for the large volume users. You would need to do some research on the licence Sawgrass holds to understand this more. Plenty of information on this forum if you have a read on what has been discussed. Ricoh would put you into a different type of inkset anyway as this is a gels printer.

I'd recommend the Ricoh SG3110.

oh and do you need a icc with a ricoh? or is the reason they are easiest to get up and running is that they dont require a icc?

iam new to this but you need to read post under printers for a £100 i think your going to buy yourself problems i agree with the above ricoh sg3110 around £300 but coes with correct ink which if prchased sep would cost just over 200 so your printer is costing you just under a £100 i bought the ricoh and you download the power driver and your finished very happy with the printer
