hi every1 , im looking at this

i understand there is no ink in this but do i have to buy ink cartridges or can i just get the syringes and some ink and put it in the ciss ? im very confused at the moment and really want to buy a printer soon but dont want to waste my money

sta away. if you dont have any experience then stay away i say. cheap epsons are not printers for new members. buy descent printer and save yourself spending money again and loads of head aches...

For a new startup then have a look at the Ricoh SG3110 sublimation printer. The option you are looking at on eBay excludes £240 of ink plus a looming headache in getting it to work, profiling, etc. There are easier routes to getting started.

Get in touch with the seller, as he may be able to offer you a deal on inks too, and help you with getting set up, or supply the printer set up.

We provide an Epson S22 ink jet printer so that you can get printing and pressing right away.

If there is no ink included how on earth can you achieve what they say?

Hi, like you i asked the same question a few months ago and ended up going for the epson at first, few tips

1, buying the Epson will cost u more long term as you spend more time messing about with gettig it to print out correctly and wasting ink
2, no real support at most people are using better (better supported that is) printers
3, just wait a few extra weeks/months if needby and by a Ricoh like we are going to from someone like BMS where you will get warrenty etc

this is a non bias beginner passing my comments to you

This is not necessarily true. Buying an Epson and setting it up properly does not necessarily have to involve wasting lots of ink to get it to print properly.

There are people successfully using S22 printers, and whilst it isn't Epson's best printer by a long way, I don't think it should be written off. I would point an accusing finger more at the use of a CISS before blaming the printer.

Ricohs have their problems too. Some inexplicably die for no admitted reason apart from something to do with Sawgrass ink cartridges. If left on they automatically run a head clean using up your expensive ink whether you want them to or not, if you turn them off for long periods they don't do this but then can clog like any inkjet printer, or fail to start at all due to the cartridge bug.
