Re: Protective film on unisub coasters?

Hi All
I was attempting to make my first coaster today & the BMS website talks about remember to remove a protective film prior to making the coaster.
However I have been trying with a pair of tweezers to remove such a film & cannot seem to see one & all I have managed to do is to chip some white off the edge of the coaster which is 100mm square.
I saw one video that suggested putting the edge of the coaster under the press to warm it up first, I did that also to no avail. So now I am wondering if the coasters they sent me do have this protective film on them or not, they're shiny if that helps to describe them.
If the film is on them can someone please explain how it is best removed.
Regards
Edd
