Hi, i have printed some mugs for our work but now a band has asked if we can print water bottles? we only have a mug press so can someone advise what i need to do? plastic is obv out of the question lol i see you can buy the mettle ones?

also regarding coffee mugs can i use my mug press to do these just change the template size on PS? http://www.coralgraph.com/sublimation-m ... and-saucer

I printed on to silver & white drinks bottles - I found white is better for images, silver is OK for just text - but I do use a thicker blanket that came with my mug press

Hi thanks Russ, when you say Blanket is this the insert u would put into the mug press currently i have only made about 20 mugs (we are a recording studio and we offer band/artist merch)

Yes, the heating element that plugs into the control box...

cool i didnt realise i could change this, so i guess thats how i can do latte mugs (if requested) lol

lattes have their own conical blankets - again, my press came with 2 different sizes for these (but never been asked for them )

I print water bottles using a 3mm silicon insert, inrease the time and temp a little, works a treat.

I have tried using the 3mm silicon insert and I thought the results were a bit hit and miss to be honest.

Once I got the time and temp right they're always spot on. I use the red oxide silicone. Recently bought some from elsewhere and its horrible, shiny stuff that I can't get on with.
