I had a go on one and i really like the idea of smaller version of those old fashion beer steins

Good Tutorial, one question I see that you do not have anything in the press when it is heating up and I have read that to save the element you should do this have you not done this because of your machine quality or you just would not recommend?

I have also seen your cheapest mug press on ebay video now and see that you do it with that one.
