right guys, i,m getting a bit titchy.

i have got a whole lot of business stuff on this hdd that i dont wanna lose if it goes tits up.

how can i copy the FULL contents of this HDD to another HDD..incl O/S.

so i can boot into other one and carry on working should this one fail.

PARAGON - downloaded and installed....make back up and.....

paragon cannot open/create file - what a crock of.....sublimation ink ( replaced words for something else )

NEXT ! :rolleyes:

OH and i was saving to one of the HDD's thats already in the pc i got


edit - now i cant even format that HDD that i was trying to put back up on - WTH :rolleyes:

another edit.....off to try something else with paragon before i delete it.....i,ll be back.

Never had this issue, are you sure you are running it with administrator rights? Are you backing up to an image file? There are a few backup options so make sure you have checked that you have the right settings.

Paragon stuff is generally pretty good.

Others to look at would be Acronis and Clonezilla

hmm...its said its backed up 66gig worth of stuff to my other HDD.

files are - 00afile
00bfile - ect.

how the hell do you restore that ????

at least i got it to copy lol
