What is the best method to get the above logo on a coloured cotton t-shirt, tried the transfer paper with sublimation ink but need to get rid of the white back ground cutting round it is more or less impossible. These are for my son so not in a hurry.

Hi Frazzle
The easiest way is with a print and cut machine like a Roland Versacamm. However mine cost 15k so am not sure if your budget will stretch to that LOL!!!
You havea few options.
Print and cut the different colours using vinyl, heat press each colour
Contract out to a print and cut company like myself. I offer £10.00 per meter (500mm width) for Premium members only
As they are a home improvement company I personally would look at embroidery, its a lot more hard wearing and means the garments can be "boiled" to stupid temperatures without the risk of anything coming off, which could be important for workwear. There are a load of members on here that do embroidery and I am sure one of them can do you a deal (which reminds me that I must ask one of them myself for something!)

Light t-shirt transfer paper has a transparent background and would show the colour of the shirt where the white is now which in this case might be perfect for the job.

Can I image to dark garments?
The KissCut process allows you to apply images and graphics to white, coloured and dark coloured garments using the full range of imaging and embellishing techniques available with the KissCut process.

Kisscut paper is not going to work, the same way laser transfer paper will not.
The logo is going onto a coloured garment so there needs to be a white base on the transfer or use vinyl which effectively blocks out the colour underneath.
If you image the red logo going to a green shirt for example, the red will mix with the green to create a completely different colour.

You could use OBM 5.6 transfer paper (lasr print and has a white base layer) and cut around the logo (scissors/stanly knife if you don't have a contour cutting machine (like the cameo/craft robo/silhouette).

The logo is 75mm square so cutting around the letters is impossible, i don't have a cutter (only my mrs) but thanks for replying.

There is the option to put a background on the logo which is the same colour as the garment you are pressing to. Not ideal but is a work around.
You could also put it on a colour background that is opposite the garment colour and compliments both the logo and the garment.
