We've been watching some of the videos by Conde. The lovely Brittany seems to give everything a cursory spray from a can. What does the spray do? We don't seem to have problems without it.

its sticky spray that you apply on larger ish items instead of heat tape. alsop helps when you close/open your press. so transfer wont move and cause ghosting.
