Justin and me saw this machine working at the trade show in birmingham
looked great but you need a jig for each item and the jigs were a few hundred each :O
so worked out very expensive but good results

Sunfly in China are also selling a similar product.

Personally I do not see that much of a market except phone covers and thats a lot of phone covers you would need to sell.

The machine at the show was being sold by the Jelliskin people...who? Oh yes, the Jelliskin people. Massive outlay and end result only somewhat better than the phone cases you can now get imo.

We have a desktop vacuum machine arriving in November and the price will be significantly lower than this. Jigs are around £30 (projected) so not making these too expensive and there are several product lines - polymer plates (full print coverage) as well as the usual phone covers and you can then start to think of different uses - inside and out side of mugs, handles, bases (especially the polymer range) ...

Full coverage on polymer plates is something that would interest me a great deal :-) How soon could I see a sample of one Martin?

We will be getting a machine in early November. This, I believe, weighs in at 18kg so a lot lighter than the Ebay offering. I'll be testing it when it arrives and when there is time (but with the Xmas period in full swing then I can't say for definite when that will be. I've seen images of full cover plates and they look good, but until a machine arrives and we start to test then you never know how easy something is compared to how a finished product looks. One of my main concerns is how the paper forms around/ over products without leaving crease lines, but the 3D printed phone cover I've got looks perfect.

Does anyone remember the one Listawood (except Listawood themselves :-) ) had available a few years ago? Did a good job on goods from what I remember. It used a subli printed type of foil.

Hi Martin

When you say significantly lower do you have a rough guide yet?
