Does anyone have any tips on how to attached these dam pesky movements to the clocks

Movement through hole with black rubber on back of clock
On face of clock slide over gold washer then screw hexagonal nut to fix.
Second hand clips on first followed by minute hand and then hour hand (each of these have different radius fixings so they placed on in turn).

I tried your method but I don't see how the second hand can be clipped on first and when I place the hour and minute hand on they come off their placement, I can guess as usual it's me but they are driving me mad

You have to push them quite firmly, on some of the clocks the second hand goes on last.
