Just a quick question, has anyone tried pressing direct onto foamex board.
I have loads of it but run out of polyester in trying to get my colours right.
Any idea on heat times if this is possible.
Thanks
Steve

OK, found out myself that it does print on Foamex although my colours are still way out and the Foamex goes a little soft until cool which could be a good thing for interesting moldings.

CPM laser paper from The Magic Touch works, - 150c for about 5 seconds, - low pressure (experiment)

I did see in one of my sublimation catalogues sublimatable foam sheets and the blurb said that after pressing a heavy flat item is placed on the sheet whilst it cools to keep the material flat or it can be thermo formed into shapes prior to cooling. I wonder if Foamex is similar material?
