Saying I had a design that started to pick up in sales and I started to print it more and more often, would it matter if I printed say 30 pieces which I knew I could sell over a month? I mean, have transfers a shelf life before the inks deteriorate before pressing? Or if suddenly no-one purchased that design that I had run off a batch from, still be ok to press in say, 6 months to 1 year?

Well depends on the type of transfer and ink. If you mean for example a light t-shirt transfer printed with UV resistant pigment ink then the shelf life is probably a very long time as the inks final home is infact the transfer.

there are quite a few posts on storing them in ziplock bags etc, and sure you have paper inbetween etc, but yes they can be stored, some members have stored for 6months but packed away rather than just loose

No frazzle... just ordinary transfer prints. Anyway, I have run off a batch of 20 of the same design and found some A4 zip-lock pouches that look similar to posting bags so no light should get to them.... lets see how it works. Thanks for the tips guys. :)
