Brand new Epson S22, with refillable cartridges fitted.

The black is peeing all over my paper. It comes and goes in streaks in the same direction as the print head moves.

Any ideas?

Sounds like you haven't got a seal on the cartridge so ink is pouring through it. Find the hole and bung it correctly or it might have to be a new cartridge.

Yeah, I think you're right. Now the blue cartridge isn't printing anything.

I knew it would be cheap garbage, but I thought it might work for a wee while at least.

Are you still using a photographic paper setting? If so try a plain paper setting - mine lays down way too much ink on settings other than plain paper.

Yeah, tried it on all settings. The black isn't leaking anymore, but as I said, no blue at all now. I'll stop for tonight and send an email to the supplier.

Ok, getting a new blue cartridge sent out. I think the black one was just a paper setting as it stopped leaking.

I can't wait to make enough money to be able to upgrade to a better system.

New cartridge arrived today. Still not printing blue.

I hate this bit of setting up. It must be a faulty printer.

I have tried everything. Re-installing the cartridge, the printer and the drivers. No good.

It's only £24 so I've ordered another one from another company who offer full refunds inluding carriage.

Probably won't get it now till next Wednesday, so need to find something else to do for a week.

Sounds like a blocked printing head try a head clean.

Have you put the genuine cartridges in and does the printer then work? If it does then it's not the printer at fault.

New printer arrived today.

Inserted cartridges then usual software faff as the PC can't recognise the printer for an hour, lol, but then.....
