I'm looking for a cutter to cut vinyl for a new clothing line, mainly t-shirts, jackets and sweatshirts, I may also want to use rhinestones but only cut 3 or 4 different templates. I think I've been persuaded from what I've read here to get a heat press that isn't going to cost me £800+ as there seems to be good reports about two companies who sell much more reasonably priced units.

So, which one do I go for? I'd prefer to pay less for the cutter but I am happy to stretch to the GX24. If that's the one you guys recommend who has the keenest price and what should I be paying. I've had a quote from a large supplier but they only came down £50 to £1049 plus VAT. Not exactly a deal of the decade imo!

Cheers!

Well if you are not going to be cutting large pieces of flex then the cameo may do the job you desire at a fraction of the cost.

I will one day buy a cameo to compliment my existing 27" and 54" chinese cutters. I have just seen that there is now a SAGA brand cutter that does automatic contour cutting (so not laser pointer) which may be another option in between.
