Using genuine Ricoh R subli inks. What temperature should I print onto the flock? Too hot and the flock will toast and too cool and the print will wash out.

Artanium was 195 for 35secs.

BMS says 200C for 35-40 secs to transfer image to flock
BMS says 170C for 10-15 secs to transfer flock to item

We do, but that's only for transferring the PRINTED FLOCK to the garment. The ink transfer is hotter and longer. Full instructions here:

You are right , 170 is too cold.
I do it at 198 for 35 secs and it works. But the white areas are a little toasted. Not much but just a little off white. I asked the question because the Ricoh Gel is pressed onto mugs at 180.
Martin, in your Ad for the flock you said "We recommend you cut the image in reverse through the backing sheet of the sublimation flock first and then transfer the image afterwards." You should also point out that you have to weed the shape from the flock before pressing. Otherwise the glue will fuse it back together again.

I had assumed that would be obvious Otherwise you'd have difficulty knowing that the printed sheet correctly covered the cut shape.

Did you really mean to 'print' onto flock? If you did then being a complete ignoramus of the use of flock I would be interested because I didn't think you actually 'printed' onto flock.

Yes, well, you print to paper and heat press this into the flock to get full colour transfer.
