Hi Everyone,

Having issues and dont know how to resolve.

Ricoh Chromoblast system bought from BMS - tried phoning them a couple of times and cant get through so thought I'd ask on here!!!!

Printing fine apart from a small black dotted line through the page.

Heatpressing, Im scorching the tee (fruit of the loom) pressing on 190 for 40 seconds which it recommends, bought temp down to 180 for 40 seconds, still scorching ( well a nice yellow square the size of the heatpress my nice white tops). Got quite a big job on and need some advice please

Thanks

Are you using any sheets in-between the press platen and the shirt when pressing?

I used to use the Chromablast System and this is something that needs a high temperature to work right (I had a lot of trial and error).

At the early stages I used to see a slight yellow tinge and thought it was 'scorching' so I started to cover with teflon sheets (bought from tescos believe it or not) - after that, I had no problems :)

Sorry you couldn't get through. We're not open at the weekends but hope we can help here as well.
Re black lines - can you post a picture to see what this is? If you type text and print in ordinary paper do the lines appear?
Yellowing is probably down to the heat - can you check your heat platen temperature independently if the display to make sure the temp is correct?

I purchased a cheap IR thermometer for under £10 on eBay and it has been a godsend for testing my presses accuracy.
