Question for all you Ricoh owners out there.....

What's the smallest size piece of paper you can print onto with a very small border?

I'm looking at the pre-cut mug sheets but wondered how small you can go pre-cut?

Wondered about this too - saw a Conde Youtube video where the guy was about to load in mug-template sized paper, rather than A4 (or Letter, I guess in the US) - would the pre-cut sheets be cost-effective?

Well the manual for the popular 3300 gives these dimensions:
Custom paper sizes: Vertical: 139.7- 356.0 mm (5.50- 14.01 inches), Horizontal: 88.0- 216.0 mm (3.46- 8.50 inches) So the smallest piece it can take would be I assume 139.7mm x 88.0mm so should cope with mug template paper that must be bigger than this

Cheers for that. I managed it on my Epson so I guessed the Ricoh would cope :-)

I'm about to buy a decent guillotine so that I can cut pack of paper all in one go, should be time saving in the long run.

The Ricoh power driver provides a page size of A6 to select, which is 105 x 148 which fits in with WorthDoingRight's comment.

we use A4 1/3 of a sheet at a time, - so that will be 99mm x 210 mm long edge feed.
Justin, - even with a great Gilloteen, - you are best cutting small stacks, there is internal friction between sheets which will slip slightly, and you can get edge fold too meaning pages can stick together. Unless you are getting a power gilloteen fewer is safer and more accurate.

Thanks Phil. I'm looking at a manual guillotine that is capable of 400 sheets so I'm hoping 100 sheets of Xpres should be fine. No biggy if I can only do say half that, I just don't want to end up spending too much time cutting them to size initially :-)

Quick update. Bought a heavy duty guillotine and it's working a treat. Chopping paper into sizes ready for my bottles should shave a few minutes off the total job time!

Hi Justin, I came across 2 videos with pre-cut mug paper on, one was conde and cant remember the other (soz) both were using ricoh printers so had a look to see if any one in the uk had it, i came across this on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Visi-Jet-Subl ... _500wt_969
didn't look to bad plus save a bit of time if you didn't have a guillotine, im tempted due to the fact my a4 guillotine is broke now and i am just terrible with scissors
