Just took delivery of one of these http://www.ebuyer.com/386278-sumvision- ... pc-astro-7 have looked at Ipads but a. I couldnt afford £400 and b. didnt think it was worth that.

This little 7 inch tablet is really good. Runs on Android 4.0 and has Google play installed so you have access to the thousands of apps. Works pretty slick. Doesnt look cheap and nasty and am truly amazed at how good it is for £80

It also scores over the Ipad in many ways. It has USB connectivity - comes with a mini usb to full size usb lead so you can plug a dongle or usb stick in. It has a TF slot (Mini SD to you and me) so you can buy a 16gb card and expand it to 32gb Storage. Got to say its definately worth the £80

we have had these for a year now, well the scroll version, mark had an issue with his so scroll updated his foc to the excel, much better battery life, we love ours and would not be without them, mostly as readers, but also as a great HD player - the picture quality on his is amazing, our initial ones were £64 inc shipping, the excel is a little dearer but for the extra quality well worth it. http://www.storageoptions.com/products/ ... ssential-7

we bought ours through e-buyer

I've got the Scroll 9.7" version of this - nice little tablet, but I find the wifi reception so poor it's unreal! I'm going to hang on to my cash until the Goggle Nexus arrives....
