Hi there
I'm really struggling to know who to try given the barrage of potential suppliers online so I thought I'd ask you folks here if you can help? I'm looking for a reliable supplier for the following to get me started please.
Full colour photograhic image on a big, proper mug, packaged ready to post out. Probably 30 off each of 6 designs to start.
Full colour photographic image on round or rectangular mousemat, high quality for optical mouse too. Probably 30 off each of 6 designs to start.
Full colour photograhic image on round, melamine? cork backed high quality drinks coasters. Probably 30 off each of 6 designs to start.
The quality is crucial here please, I'd really appreciate any pointers or advice folks. The low quantiuties are just to get things started to get feel for which designs will sell.
Cheers
Al

I am pretty sure that all the members on here could very easily supply you with all of the items you require within a couple of days.
By big proper mug. I take it you mean an 11oz mug?
So you need:
30x 6 Mugs
30x 6 Mousemats
30x 6 coasters.
so, 540 items.
What a great order/enquiry. Couple of grand there.
Would that be cash up front or after delivery?
If cash up front i will give you a great price.
If not then the risk is too big.

Are you looking for some to do the design and sublimate them as well. or are you looking for blanks to do yourself.

i think they are looking for a drop ship service/ finished article, Jenny
Al, asking people to quote you by PM or email will be easiest, but, i would suggest that the people that quote should send you a sample pack which is refundable upon the order being placed - otherwise you will not know if the quality you want is there - you will need to supply them with an image of yours, and again i would suggest you use just one image for them all to quote against.
it would be cheaper for the mugs to be sent in boxes, with the acrylic mailers flat packed for you to put in once they arrive at your end - and for you to have your quote based upon boxed rates of items - ie mugs are packed in 36's that will keep things easier for your supplier whoever you choose.
if you are looking for large company i would suggest listawood.

I thought that, but thought it a unusual request. Especially for a reasonable size order. it did make me twice about offering my services. There are plenty of places that she can go to so they should be all right and get a reasonable price for that order and get the quality they require

Thanks for the advice Laura, much appreciated.
I'm building my web site through July and plan to have my site online by the end of August so just planning ahead here to get samples and stock in place mid August. I would want to send ready packaged mugs out and the other items myself. I'll be in touch regarding the pm's as soon as possible. Thanks too Jenny.
Regards.

One of the potential issues to consider here if you go down this route is the problem of re-stocking in a timely manner. It's sods law that certain designs will sell quicker than others or you'll run out of something quickly and then you'll need to replace singles and delivery costs of getting things to you will dent your margins considerably. The greatest flexibility will be to either find someone very local to you to do this (to save on carriage costs and to see the quality first hand) or buy the equipment yourself to do the printing yourself and keep all the margin yourself as well.
