Hi there,
im new to all of this so please let me apologise now if its been asked before. I have spent a lot of money to start my own business up.

I have bought sublimation mugs from Ebay, 8 in 1 press from coralgraph and pro-sub ultra dye sublimation paper (funkyleopard make) sublimation ink and epson S22 printer.

I have not recieved any instructions to help me. I have looked on youtube but getting told different things that Im really confused now.So i have a few questions that maybe someone can help me with please.

When printing on the paper which setting are best for the printer photo or plain paper ?
when putting it in the mug heat presser which heating settings are best?

I have tired to have a go but no luck ;( printing picture is ok but when i have put it in the mug heat presser for 200 for 3 mins but NO image what so ever is going onto the mug :(

Obviously question here is what inks are you using? Are you sure they're sublimation? You'll know if they are as that would be the most expensive outlay next to your press!

Never heard of that paper either.

OK, there's your problem. I'm afraid that isn't sublimation ink :frown: That's dye based ink (same as I use in my Canon)

You need to be looking at one of the suppliers on our list here but expect to pay considerably more for the right ink.

The printer you have isn't officially supported so if you want to continue using this you'd need to buy the ink and top up your own refils. This is my preferred option but tbh as you're just starting out it may be worth looking at a printer/ink package.

You'll find plenty of info. here on which printer to use and members own experiences.

No problem, we all started off at the same place

You'll find a link in my last post, take a look at a few of the companies there and also you'll see a couple with advertising banners here as well. Ink doesn't vary much in price between suppliers due to restrictions placed on it by Sawgrass.
