Hello to the Motley Crew of DSF.
Quick background.
I will be 45 the end of June and lost the spark in my current business after 20+ years, so my mid-life crises is to start a new business in a completely different sector. I am sure a young flossy or a motorbike is the normal approach, but that would not of had Mrs Janners blessing!
So the world of Mugs is being explored. The plan is to have July and August off to recharge, then have time to fire up the business, make mistakes, and hit Xmas. Ahhh so simple. Having worked for myself for so long, I know nothing ever goes quite as planned!
Even now I can feel the warmth of that ember being fanned so as the spark might come, and I long to hear the roar of the fire of desire that comes when a business rises and takes on a life of it's own. That hedonistic excitement, that leap out of bed excited at what the day will bring, the intoxicated exuberance that drives those close to you absolutely nuts, yet puts a smile on their face.
Fortunately Mrs J is Keeping the leash tight, whips me when I get too excited, and insists I take the time out to recharge the batteries.
Enough for now
Janners.
