Official Launch of the Ricoh SG3110 today from Sawgrass. This is the replacement to the GXe3300 (but plenty of the GXe3300's still around) using 4 colour cartridges - yes different to the GXe3300. The SG3110 takes a 42ml black and 29ml Cyan, Magenta and Yellow cartridge and will probably be a little more expensive to buy than the GXe3300. As usual with the Ricoh printers they are supported through PowerDriver for Windows and ICC profiling for Macs.

Martin,
will Sawgrass be supporting the wireless version of this printer or just the wired version.

What caught my eye is the SG part of the model number... are Sawgrass officially rebranding the printers as their own, or wanting to imply that the printers are made for them/different from the normal 3110 model?

... or is the "SG" just a coincidence for the model name, and nothing to do with Sawgrass at all

The model number is Ricoh's decision, perhaps should have said it is the AficioSG 3110DN. Does the full name de-empathise the "SG"?

That "DN" stands for
Duplex and
Network, doesn't it? It's sure going to be handy to duplex your dye-sub prints ... urm, not!

Might save some of the 'which side of the paper do I print on questions?' eh
