Not sure if this is the correct area to ask this question but what do people tend to use on the bottom of there mugs to show who made it etc..

I was thinking of a vinyl sticker but then it needs to survive the dishwasher..

Any advice on what others do would be most helpfull.

I will try and help other people with advise where i can but i am only learning myself.

Thanks
Joe

We've discussed printing onto the bottom several times over the years, the conclusion is usually a sticker of some sort.

I have vinyl stickers made for a couple of customers and they work well. I have had heat proof stickers made in the past, more expensive but tend to hang on in that little bit longer :-)

I've been using stickers for a while and find that they do discolour after going through the dishwasher. We are currently looking at getting a pad print option running with organic inks so it will cure in the oven at subli temps. You can also get self curing ink I believe through a chemical reaction which could then be okay for a press. These options are probably only any good for multiple runs though with the added cost. Still got a lot to learn on this though so if anyone knows the in's and out's please feel free to correct me.
