Hi guys,

In the summer, I would like to try out some events and fetes etc.

Is there such a thing as a "Portable Heat Press", as the one we have at the moment weighs over 40kg!

I only need a small press, as the largest item being printed would probably be a mouse mat.

Any help will be much appreciated,

Thanks,

Rob

That was my first heat press way back. I hated it, ended up selling it on as I just couldn't get on with it at all. Some of this may have been down to my lack of experience at the time though :-)

Personally I'd look at Chinese or.....George Knight, the JP12, example site http://www.yolo.co.uk/geo-knight-heat-p ... -511-p.asp
I had one of these a few years back, very small and light, did the job ok for smaller items.

We've found the Jarins to be brilliant, certainly better quality build and feel compared to the Chinese ones. Solid build, not flimsy metal.
They sometimes come up on Ebay cheap, but new they aren't cheap at all, like Adkins aren't!

I've got one of these, cracking machine, would recommend this to anybody.

Thanks for the advice guys. I've seen a 12x9 press at Lovecut for £130, and it only weighs 20kg. I may get on to Henry at Coralgraph, and see if they have anything similar as my current press from Coralgraph is very good indeed!

Do a quick search for threads discussing Lovecut and then order from somewhere else ;-)

we have the press you mention and its a good piece of kit, never had a problem with it to date.we use it more then our big press.
lovecut get slated for their after sales care, but luckily we have not had to call them.
for the price of the press its well worth gining it a try.

Haha yeah I've heard about their reputation, which I why I want to get a similar press from Coralgraph. Hopefully they will be around the same price! :)
