I'm being really thick here - trying to download a template from here
http://newsletter-templates.com/
When I do and unzip the file I can't find the template to edit just a thumbnail and a folder of images - the link to website doesn't seem to work. I tried 2 of the advanced templates and no joy.
thanks in advance.

I wanted the second one on the advanced section - kind of red flowers on it. I just cannot do it - or am I meant to use the folder of bits to make my own? Although that defeats the purpose of a template I guess. Thought it was going to save me a bit of time - now spent more time on it than if I had done my own from scratch but thanks for having a look.

I tried for a good hour, could not do it, how many times have we thought that's a five minute job ( for anything ) and it just last much longer than you care to think about, I compare it to sorting drawers in the end you wished you never started

What is it that you want to do with this template?
I downloaded one and extracted the zip. This leaves me with, amongst other things, a file "index.html" and a folder of images called "i". Opening the index.html file in a browser shows the default template (oddly enough, using remote images rather than relative ones for the local folder).
If you edit the index.html file in your html-editor you can edit the text or change the images as you wish.
I can't see the problem.
