i just want the writing i put up and nothing else.

the opencart forums are not excactly helpful......or they takes days to answer you !

tryed deleting and altering the welcome php file but.....that just buggers up the whole store front.....

Free software is always going to be about solving your own problems. If you're not able to do that then patience is your key weapon. Someone will have found a solution.

On the OpenCart forum, there are 29+ pages of bugs and bug fixes for version 1.5.1.3. Most of these were highlighted and fixed for the current version 1.5.2, but version 1.5.2 already has 11+ pages of bugs and bug fixes so you're better off getting comfortable with a mature version before leaping into the current one. You're likely to find fixes for the more mature version just by searching the forum or Googling.

It's the nature of the beast when using free software, I'm afraid - but at least you'll never have to pay for the bug fix/patch!
