Which are your preferred type of tees producing less filibration when printed wth the DTG machine?

I use Sols Imperial or FOL Premium. The trick is also in the pretreatment method. ..........

Sols Imperial, not heard of these, are they sold in the Uk too?

We already use FOTL Super Premium so thats good but someone has advised us to use the Gildan ringspun softyle also, we use these already but with vinyl. We are told that they print beautifully with a DTG printer. I am however a little confused as the Gildan soft style are quite fibrous as opposed to the FOTL Is that down to the pre treatment then as I would have thought the less fibrous the shirt the less filiubration.

Its mainly down to how you apply pretreatment. But a less "hairy" shirt helps as well.

Thats what I thought, luckily dad has been researching the pre treatment, need a machine now. Fingers crossed we will have one shortly.

When and if you buy a DTG you can apply the pretreat with a hand gun. It will be cheaper than spending 3K on a pretreat machine.

I use the Sols shirts because they come in mens , woman and kids. FOL premium do not.

To make a DTG pay for its self you will need to print at least 5 shirts a day on average. When it is standing still it uses ink to clean itself.

This is for the Neo but nearly all DTGs use the same printer and they all have the same cleaning system.

Had a look at the Sol shirts, they have a nice range.

Unfortunately I am very ignorant of these machines but dad has been researching the machines for 2 years now, his preferred mc would be the Neo but as a starting point we don't want to spend that amount of money.

It will be the "used" route for us to test our market.

The only other DTG that I saw that was any good was the Anajet. They have recently brought out a new model and In the US there are plenty of used older models about. Make 100% sure that the lines and the print head is totally clean, Ink will dry in a week if left unattended. Once its dry, it is dry and nothing will move it.
