morning all....

how do i get customers to upload there artwork/images to me ?

the obvious one is stick up an email link..

but how do i get the upload image icon - when you click it, it takes customer to there pc to browse for the image.

i spoke to my shop hoster.....they will not be doing anything like that....

do i need to set up a third party acc elsewhere ?
or get em to fire it up to my acc on photobucket ?

a script / module i can add to my store ?

I use a PHP script on my site... I can send you the code if you need it. This is my upload page: http://www.awesome-illustrations.com/upload.html

I get the user to enter their name which the script then appends to the filename so that it makes it unique and I can match the filename to the order.

I've used Jotform in the past to create forms which you can then set as a link on the website or include in the website - I don't know how that would work with the rest of your website design.

Here's an example of a form I created which allows for file uploads: http://www.jotform.com/abbeytheatre/eventinformation

I wonder why not? I've used a couple of free shopping cart software and they've each come with an "upload" option as standard.
