Re: Ricoh 5050n Yellow Cast Problem

Hi All,
Just a shot in the dark here, as I don't think many of you have the Ricoh 5050n, but, for the first time I'm having problems and hope someone can help me. :frown:
When I print straight spot colours (such as block text) all seems fine, except when I try to print red. The red looks good, but underneath there seems to be the same print but in a very faint yellow which looks like a drop shadow. Also when printing photo's the same happens. On the text it just seems to affect the red only and now the yellow cast is around 2 - 3 mm out so very noticeable.
I've done the following
Nozzle checks - all ok.
Head Position - all speeds and quality.
Head cleans - all together and all individually.
Page registration - OK.
The yellow/magenta and Cyan are on their last legs - black is full.
The only thing I can think of is that the ink maybe passed its sell by date - do you think this could affect it like this?
Cheers John
