hi everyone , quick question , is it against copyright rules to use a team badge or is it only illegal when you sell it without stating it is unoffical merchandise? thanks danny

In its simplest terms, "copyright" is the "right to copy". The purpose of the copy is immaterial. If you don't have permission to copy from the copyright holder, you're not allowed to copy it. That's it.guarddog14;38149 wrote:hi everyone , quick question , is it against copyright rules to use a team badge or is it only illegal when you sell it without stating it is unoffical merchandise? thanks danny

Errrr.......nope. Most of the clubs use a company who make the mugs at very cheap prices which we just wouldn't be able to match.accdave;38268 wrote:Has anybody on here actually asked a football club and got any answer besides NO
For anybody in the vicinity of a lower league club or even conference may be worth asking. Sometimes they are buying stock in minimum quantities which is beyond their means.Ian M;38311 wrote:Errrr.......nope.
