Do any members here print on clear window vinyl, the sort that sticks inside the car window, not a "sticker" for the outside of the car.

I have a job to quote on. if you do, can you please pm me. i will be away fri-sun, so if i dont get back to you over the weekend im not being rude

size 10cm x 10cm full colour picture with lettering above and below in black, on a clear background.

thanks

If its a full colour picture I doubt it would be screened - cannot compete with wide format digital these days. Does "Stitch ups" old machine that he fixed the other day not do these?

I can print car window stickers in spot colour, not photo/pictures, on clear or clear backed with white - if peeps are interested please email qty/specs etc.

Cheers John

If it's just a one off job, why not get something like this?

Printed with pigment ink will help with the sun fade

The ones I offer are the same as the vehicle grade vinyl but in clear rather than coloured. I've printed up to 4 colours on these, in reverse, and most are backed with white. They are the same as the small ones on rear windows advertising the garage the car was bought off and they are uv stable due to being screen printed.

Cheers John

What's the size of these John? or does it really go on an average (bumper sticker style) size?

Also, here's me just thinking aloud. You mention you can print up to 4 colours - what detail can you get on them or is it best for just block writing/logos?

Basic logo's I don't offer shades (halftones) as i'm not set up to do these.

Sizes can vary, toyota ones used to be long then they changed along with Audi to smaller sizes. Typical could be 60/70mm x 200/240mm

Many years ago when I was a screen printer we did a few full colour half tone self cling stickers & they were always a pain in the backside to be honest. The big problem was we had to use translucent inks which were gloss & that was always a problem using that ink to print on that material. Self cling is best printed using the matt inks using spot colour like John says.
