We've all probably had this conversation before but I have another angle on this.

I have a disc full of vectors (thousands) that are in different catories (as an example, animals, birds, cars etc) but there are still loads of vectors in each folder.

At the moment I have to open up each vector to see what it is - I have tried a few vector preview utilities but all these do is open the vector at a lower quality so you can see what it is and although it's quicker you still have to click on each vector to open it rather than highlight 30 and scroll through them.

Does anyone know of/use anything that I could find useful?

Also, does anyone know of a utility that I can highlight a group of vectors and it will print off thumbnail size pictures - that way a catalogue of some kind can be created.

Many thanks in advance :-)

I like Mystic Thumbs, it does everything, loads as a service with Windows so there's no program/viewer to load in order to view thumbnails. Just use windows explorer and all the file formats will be displayed as thumbnails.

Use Adobe Bridge? It's a great program thats part of the CS suite which will enable you to view any graphical file as a thumbnail.
