Online design software

Hi Guys,
I am looking at getting some online software that will allow people to design the item eg mugs, t shirts, mouse mats ect online can anyone tell me of any good software that is easy for people to design the item and also what sort of price i should pay.

Looking for the same myself . Sites like Photobox do it well but I'm guessing these sites aren't cheap!

This sort of job should be outsourced as it is a very complex. Perhaps you could look at the rsktech website for some ideas together with developflash or online-product-designer. You could try this thread on t shirt forums for more information. Basically for user interaction you need css, php and JavaScript or flash interactive coding. Out of the box solutions such as the ones from no-refresh cost anywhere from $600 to $5000. I have been quoted around £10,000 for a complete solution for online web to print sites with integrated store. If you can find anything under £1,000 that doesn't have customer support in the Himalayas let us all know.
