Having had both a 1400 and D120 both block on the same colour I wanted to ask a very simple question.

When you refill a cart using a syringe, is it vital to ensure air doesn't get put into the cart as well? I've always presumed that this would rise to the top and be expelled.

I know if you have air in the lines of a CIS that it isn't a problem so does the same apply to a cart?

Justin :-)

Air isn't a problem so long as the air bubble isn't near the ink outlet hole and the cartridge is properly sealed after refilling. I presume your cartridge doesn't have any sponge inside it as air bubbles in any sponge filled cartridge would be a problem.
