Mike from Sheffield

Thinking about starting sublimation business very soon (January/Februery), so probably I will put more questions then answers on this forum. :)

Budget about £1750 (combo heat press, 2xepson b1100, pigment and dyusub injekt CISS, cutter/plotter - cheap china or Silhouette Cameo, papers and accessories and some blank products)...

Part-time and then I will see...

Online shop, Ebay and Facebook selling (try to improve SEO, PPC campaign), local advertisement (leaflets, special promo with door delivery etc.), friends and friends of friends selling...

I think it is still place for new competitors on this market, because sublimation and stuff around did not reach peak yet.

GL everybody.

Hi Mike and welcome to the forum. For that money I'd be looking to get a better press and probably a better printer as well. The Ricoh is great for a new starter and I'd buy a second hand press, Adkins or Hotronix, something like that. If you're only doing A4 go for the Ricoh 3300, maybe a B1100 for A3 but consider the Ricoh 7000. Ricoh would see you up and running quickly and you'll have less issues.

You'll find a Suppliers List under our General section. Xpres are good for packages and will take you through everything before you decide to buy. Just down the M1 in Castle Donnington, Derbys.

A lot of people ask me, but I am not, czech language is different, I can speak slovakian, because we used to be together (Czechoslovakia)... We have got some similar words with polish, I think we can a bit undestand each other if we are speaking slowly...

Yes. Czech is little bit similar but not as much as slovakian. I have some chech and slovakian friends and with those from slovakia we can understand 90% of converstaion by speeking our own languages! Lol
