Can anyone help - I thought I was getting on ok with vinyl application on core ex boards but have only done a couple, then someone asked me to do some vinyl on aluminium. So I got some 7 year vinyl from mdp and I am just finding it the pits to work with - real problems with air bubbles and it just really unforgiving. Tried a few little ones and they are ok until looked at in a certain light when you can see flaws - but 2 big 8 by 4 foot signs to do and I'm really dreading attempting them. I did find using some clear application tape I had seemed to help a bit (although no idea why) - anyone any tips on how to go about them (will heating the aluminium help before hand?).
thanks

No ... I was watching a vid where they used washing up liquid in a spray beforehand on a car decal ... but someone else said not to bother ...
Will application fluid make a difference? Will order some tomorrow. thanks

dont order anything yet. get the spray bottle and fill it up with water and add a drop of washing up liquid. spray your surface and then apply your vinyl. you can move it slightly as surface is wet. so you cam make little adjustment. then just take your squeegee and try to get rid of the all water bubbles etc. after you done that it all should look much better. I would sugest that you practice a bit on bit of scrap vinyl
