I recommend everybody to visit Polish (or German) Baltic coast in the summer. It's beautiful. But it's impossible to convince even one English person to spent his/her holidays there.

True! Great there. Very good climate there. But why you recon is imossible to convince english person ??? I have plenty english friends that visited poland and they loved it!!!!!

I went back in 2002 - loved it. Overwhelmed by Warsaw but got out of there and did Krakow, Zakopane, Birkenau, Lublin and little stop offs in between.
I keep saying I want to go to Krakow in winter time but my passport ran out in June - so need to sort that one first (disgusted that it will cost me €80 more than a standard UK passport for a renewal in Ireland & I have to get to Dublin - can't be done by post).

Woooow! Bit of poland you vidited... Zakopane and crakov are best bits of poland for me... By birkenau do youean oswiencip (auschwitz)???

Yes, very strange place to visit, it's difficult to explain how it makes you feel & I wasn't going with any pre conceptions, and we went to see some incredible salt mines as well - think it was around there but not sure.

i never been there myself but iam planing to go there next time .
