I am wanting to improve and monitor my contact with customers, and most larger businesses use a CMS (sometimes called a client management system)
It can integrate with emails, marketing campaigns, quotes, invoicing, provide reminders of previous jobs or when to follow up call, ..... lots of stuff!
The web is full of systems for larger organisations, I only want 1 licence, for me! - and don't know what to look for.
A cloud based system has much appeal so you can update from your smart phone or check up details while out and about instead of having to go back to the office.
Any suggestions ?
thanks
Phil

Hang on, I suppose I would want a 2 user licence, so I can access the info from my office, and mobile phone, maybe even a 3 user licence so I can use it in my shop, from home, and on the move ....... Any tips appreciated!

Hi Jack,
I have done a lot of reading about, there are dozens of options within Google apps for business, many free for just a few users.
My issue is that I know nothing about managing clients electronically, and there is both a learning curve, and time investment to get up and running, so I thought I'd ask about for any tips.....

Im afraid after too many years in sales doing it the long way (written) and then a while in sales doing it the CRM way - the written way still works for me, its simpler now, less customers so i have several colour divided note pads, and use those, updating details of when i spoke to them what about etc, CRM is great if there is more than one of you and you need the information shared across people and locations - but for a smaller business hand written works all the way for me
