....pie in the sky? Possibly!

I have been trying to find out how you get permision to use logos and symbols for things such as DC Comics - Batman etc, and also for Mr Men.... does anyone have any experience or links I could chase up please?

Thanks!

DC Comics,

Think it'll be too much money for little return, but good luck.

Do you not think these have been done to death? I know they are popular but between Lidl, Penneys and Dunnes, even here in Ireland - it has been a case of been there, worn a cheap t-shirt. And I think that lowers the perceived value of goods.
But good luck - just if I was buying copyright, I'd be looking for something a little less market exposed.
Try here for info on Mr Men licensing - http://www.chorion.co.uk/

Sorry, perhaps I did not express myself correctly -
Im not doubting what you are doing - just that a Mr Men or Marvel branded item and I automatically think that it is a mass produced item from China/Asia - regardless of price or actual item.
If I had the money to pay for Marvel copywrite I'd look up a great but unknown artist off Deviant Art and develop something .... (perhaps a new line of zombie Mr Men ?!?- as long as you dont tout them as Mr Men - I don't think anyone has the rights to the word Mr ...) Oops - thinking out loud again.
Anyway, wasn't knocking you - just trying to say how I feel about these images/logos.

I have had some back & forth with the licensing dept at Chorion, and as lovely and helpful as she was, apparantly someone already holds the license for mugs etc & they only allow one license holder....even though it appears no-one licensed is doing them on ebay, so i would have just been happy with that bit, and i offered them the earth but they still were not interested.

do you mean it apears more than one person is selling them on ebay, so must be unlicensed?
