A local company gave me a catalogue of promotional items, something I'm starting to supply. The book is obviously just something generic with their sticker put on the front.
I assume they're dealing direct with a manufacturer, does anyone know how to go about doing this? I'm competing against a couple of local companies whom I believe may have this type of arrangement in place already.

What was the catalogue Justin ................... was it things like mugs, pens, etc that companies put their name on but get them in from third parties?
Has the catalogue got any 'printed at' details on the back page?

Yeah, all that sort of stuff. 165 pages. All done without branding.

Justin, it sounds like it could be the Trade Only catalogue. They have a system like you mention & the catalogue is about the same number of pages.

I have details (somewhere) for a company in the far east that supplies promotional products, I wonder if they might do the same kind of catalogue.

There are several catalogue groups. As mentioned Tradeonly is one of the largest and often a good starting point. There are also online sourcing portals which provide white label websites.
