Hi, does anyone know if you lie the mug down in these boxes please?

My mugs are 9cm tall, these boxes are 15cm wide, therefore there would be a gap of 6cm - is it possible to lie the mug down and include something else inthe box?

You stand the mug up in the box as if it was full of tea or coffee. If you laid the mug down there is a very good chance of the handle being broken off.

but it seems a lot wider.... I wonder if I can package one laying down, but label it so it gets posted standing up - if that makes sense...!

Id be interested to try one or two before buying 100 of them.....so if anyone wants to sell a couple can you please pm me?

ermmm in fact I bet dimensions given are external......
