Hi all,

I (and probably many others) use baking paper between the heat plate and garments when pressing (not grease proof paper as this stuck one time and was a nightmare to get off).

Anyway, I got some 20m rolls from aldi a few months ago (we quite a few rolls as it was about a quid a roll) - but for some reason they don't stock it now!

Tried Wilkinsons, Asdas, Tescos .................. you name it - I've tried them and no one does it anymore (baking paper, not greaseporoof paper).

Has anyone got a source that they get it from please?

Ref the greaseproof paper sticking. When I use a transfer, the greaseproof paper sticks to the transfer and sometimes it eve sticks to the garment vinyl (sorry Martin, Garment Flex).

They do sell Silicon Sheets on various sites but it's quite expensive and (as we know) it's the same stuff that Baking Paper is made from (no matter how you call and brand it).

Many thanks in advance

A search on the Tesco website brings up this: http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/ ... =256581915

Is that what you're looking for?

I was thinking that I might try it instead of greaseproof paper. Can you say where the 75m rolls are sold for £6 each?

Will do mate - but I'll have to let you know later as the missis has found it at home, rug rats are off school so I gave her a mission to find some just to break up her 'Jeremy Kyle' marathon!

Ref greaseproof paper - not touched this since I had the 'sticking' and always use baking paper now. I use chromablast at 195 - 205 degrees and it works a treat!

I haven't had sticking issues with greaseproof (but then I'm not using chromablast and only rarely do garments), but if baking paper is better and the cost isn't much more, I'd rather go with the better stuff.
