does anyone know if this canvas is strong enough to use for those little folding picnic stools you can get??

now thats a novel use for it darn good idea too but i doubt it would stand the test of time worth looking into heavier duty stuff though

i have some normal canvas and that'd be strong enough
thats what most of them stools are made of normal canvas
i've never seen or tried the sub stuff tho sorry
but whatever canvas you use it'd be best to store it inside as they don't like rain :)

Couldn't you get some kind of waterproof stuff to spray on for such as tents etc?

where can you get the heavier duty one from, ive only seen the 250gsm one.

i got some really heavy stuff off flebay for my boat decking sides
made them today and the canvas is really strong

i made the letters with vinyl and yes its straight its the canvas that not :) as the boat isn't level

and i thinks it 'fabsil' that you spray or paint onto canvas to make it waterproof if i rem my old days camping with canvas tents :)
