I've been asked if I can cut some window tinting vinyl, does anyone know if there is any software which would cut the window sizes, the guy who asked wants to fit the tint himself so all I'd have to do is cut the window outlines, any help would be appreciated

there is some dvd on fleebay with car outlines for sign making. I think those outlines are in real car/van dimensions so this may be worth to check.

The vehicle outlines cd is only a guide - I wouldn't be cutting off their dimentions. Surely the you would just supply a larger size and he'd cut it after its been applied to the window.

That's possibly the process, I will look a bit further into it

The normal way is to cut approx to size and then "Fit" it. Just beware that its a real art to do well. Its not cheap stuff and people tend to blame suppliers if they cock it up themselves. Personally I would steer clear.

I'm thinking the same thing, it was only a one off enquiry so I think I'll side step it
